MBS5 + Iliganon Hospitality = Great Success
Day 1
Explore Iligan had the opportunity to get involved by taking part of this year’s Mindanao Bloggers Summit which was organized and hosted by the Iligan Bloggers Society, Inc. The summit was carried out last October 29-30, 2011 at the Function Hall of Celadon Pension House in Pala-o, this city.
The venue was great. The stage was simple yet functional. The bonsai trees, courtesy of Sir Jojo Dulay of Iligan-Lanao Bonsai Society, added to the beauty and elegance of the place. The dominance of the cool green color just seemed appropriate for this year’s theme of “One Green Mindanao”.
The angelic voices of the Buhanginan Choir delighted the ears and warmed the hearts of everyone present, and last but not the least, the delicious food and the free flowing coffee, all declared that the event indeed was well-thought, well-prepared, well-organized, and truly a product of strong collaboration between the organizer and its partners.

It was also a great day for networking and making connections with bloggers from different places and cities, and hobnobbing among the city executives, the sponsors, and other guests.
Explore Iligan had the opportunity to meet new friends, strengthen some old bonds and see some familiar faces while uniting in our passion for ONE GREEN MINDANAO.
Not only has each participant treated with a summit kit and a touch of Iligan flavor, the organizer has also given away lots of freebies and prizes and surprises. There were raffle draws from time to time to excite everyone. Explore Iligan has silently prayed for a free round trip ticket to any domestic destinations courtesy of AirPhil Express but bagged an authentic Azkals shirt instead - thanks to azkals.com.
Explore Iligan wants to thank the organizer- Iligan Bloggers Society, Inc. and its partners, everyone who sponsored, presented sessions, volunteered and attended the 5th Mindanao Bloggers Summit for coming together and making it a big success. It’s great to see that the spirit of unity for a good cause is alive and well and that the dedication to One Green Mindanao is so strong in this part of this country.
Indeed, everyone had a great time.
Congratulations for a job well done!
