NPC said the project will enhance the tourism potential of the Maria Cristina Falls and will raise public awareness on NPC’s hydro power operations. At the same time, the park is designed to protect and preserve the environment, while providing livelihood and business opportunities for the host-communities living near the Agus complex.

The NPC Nature’s Park construction in three phases:

Phase I  features an orchidarium; a durian/rambutan/lanzones orchard; natural waterfalls; a bat park; a crocodile farm; a grotto in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes; a wishing well; and viewing decks along the banks of the Agus River .

It is expected to bring in additional revenues, thus allowing NPC to recover the project cost.

Visitors are asked to fill-up a form, an identification card, and charged an entrance fee of P30 for adults and P20.00 for children and Senior Citizens plus P10 for the shuttle ride. Use of the zip line is P200 per person.

Of course, a trip to NPC Nature's Park is not complete if you don't make it to the top of the viewing deck to see the magnificent waterfall.
