MBS5 A Great Success–Part 4

The  tour provided by the IBS and Iligan City Tourism for the MBS5 participants was great.  Explore Iligan had so much fun being part of the event but MBS5 has not come to an end yet.

Before heading home, there was this announcement about a sponsored dinner.  The group was then sub-divided into two for a special dinner – one group at Kyla’s Bistro and the other at Aruma Café.

Aruma Kissaten Coffee Lounge (Aruma Café) is located at  Preface Building, De Leon cor. Burgos St., Poblacion, Iligan City. It opened its doors to the public on December 15, 2007.  Its minimalist all-white interior design is heavenly. It provides a safe haven for those who just want to laze around and de-stress after a long day’s work – a relaxing place to finish work via their free Wi-Fi connection. And the music (bossa nova) playing in the background adds to the serenity that a coffee-lover always seeks in a coffee shop.

They also cater to the diet-conscious folks. Aruma offers a range of modest meals for those who are in the mood for full gusto and for those who are watching their diet.

It was 15 minutes past six when Explore Iligan arrived at Aruma Café.  A little late due to the heavy rains that night.  It’s always been a pleasure and a great experience for a  dinner at Aruma and could hardly wait for the Seafood Marinara (ohlala!).

Here, a group of about 8 people gathered at a café for a dinner (as a favor from the café owner) and a friendly association with everyone who shares a common interest. The dinner was barely under way but everyone was already very happy and satisfied. Thank you Aruma.

After Aruma, the group moved to Highway 30 for the final event.

Highway 30 is located at the National Hi-way, Barangay Bagong Silang, this city. It is home to Coffee Works - a coffee shop relatively new to Iligan, a derma clinic,  a fitness center, and the newest resto-bar in town – the Z Resto Bar.

Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2011 has come to a final point and culminated with an intimate concert with David DiMuzio at Z Resto Bar.  David is a professional singer/songwriter, fitness fan, and a world champion juggler (http://daviddimuzio.blogspot.com).  He was personally invited by  Pat Noel of IBS, Inc. for the MBS5 final event.

By all measures, the Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2011 was A GREAT SUCCESS!
